CLIMATE CHANGE

Since the beginning of human civilization, mankind has lived in a competitive relationship with nature. His relentless pursuit of progress, comfort and security has resulted in increased stress on environment, particularly since the industrial revolution.
In result to the existence of global warming that triggered what we call now climate change. A long-term change in the earth’s climate, especially a change due to increasing in the average atmospheric temperature. The effects of climate change are undeniable. Research conducted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and other reputed meteorological institutions proves that average yearly temperature has been steadily growing over the last decades. The sea levels have also been rising, and the number of floods in different parts of the world has increased dramatically. Glaciers in the Northern Hemisphere have started to melt. This caused more icebergs to drift into the ocean. They currently pose a serious threat to both, cruise and cargo ships that course through the waters of the northern regions. There are reports of some icebergs being spotted far to the South from Greenland.
So act now before its to late Mother earth is already warning us remember ‘’PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.’’
